Lots of distance covered on this part of the Trip. We started in San Francisco. Had a great hotel near china town with a view of the Bay. We had to walk a couple blocks to hop on a Street Car. Had to do it like in the movies because it was so busy so the kids got a seat the rest of us had to hold on for dear life. We rode the car down to Fishermans warf. It was very noisy and went up and down the hills. At times it was interesting the driver putting on the diffrent breaks to slow down because of the steap slopes. Then there are the trucks parked on the side of the road that the driver tells the left or right side to watch out and you have to pull in or get bumped.
So we walked down fishermans warf and took in the old boats at the national park. We ate at a great place called The Plant. Rode some more old transprortaion cars. Amazing people use those things daily. We checked out Pier 39 and the sea lions. They get very pist at each other it was interesting watching them. Did I mention it was freeking cold. About 52 by the time we gave up and left. It was so windy it was crazy. From there we headed to Napa which turned out to be almost 100, I swear it was only an hour or so drive too. The temperture change is amazing. We stopped at a winery and took in the scenary.
From here we headed north and stopped at Crater Lake for the night. The next day we took in the lake. Its amazing it has no rivers in or out its all snow melt. Its so clear and amazingly beutiful. We didnt have time to take the boat cruise will have to come back and try that. The next odd thing we saw was in the middle of nowhere Idaho. There was an amuzement park with the oldes rickety looking roller coaster. It was an eaven odder site with a brand new steal one right next to it.
The next day we made it to Spokane then up to Canada thru Kootney National Park. We hadnt passed thru this park previously it was very nice driving thru a valley surounded by mountains.
We checked into the Chateau at Lake Louise this morning. We have a room with a balcony facing the amazing lake with the glaciers in the background. This place is awsome. They have kids activities through out that day so quinn did a 2 hour hike for kids tommorrow hes gonna try a photograph trip and an art trip with an eyeseyl and eveything.
