We were walking a good pace. We left around 8am and arrived at 3:30pm. We stopped at a bar and had a break twice. Me drinking coke once and fanta orange another.
There were towns along the way. We saw one set of individuals pushing a wheelchair. We'd scene them in the past they are doing a biography on someone helping his friend do the camino if I recall.
Nice valleys near the towns.
Half way up we switch to path. One of my walking friends was an antique dealer. He once acquired a map of the wests Indian territories. He them resold it to a museum in the south west and it is the center piece at that particular museum. Gonna have to check it out next trip.
Old wall along the route covered in green.
We finally made it to the top.
This town we are staying in is very unique.. All rock houses with some with thatch roofs. It's tiny on a small crest between the top of two sides.
This is he view of the other side from the albergue where I stayed. It's very nice but here are bunk beds right next to each other. Not sure yet who my bed mate is. But above me are some younger spanish guys. There iPhone just fell thru the crack and they didn't even notice.
The last thing to mention is I met my San Francisco friend today so that was great. She introduced me to a French guy that started his camino from his home. Today is day 92 for him. Can you even imagin walking that long?
We will see what tomorrow brings. No wifi so will upload tomorrow.

I am happy to see you in the mountains. Awesome to see stone houses with thatched roofs. I wonder how much maintenance they take compared to a standard issue Phoenix house? It guess would be both awkward and kind of fun to have such close rooming quarters most locations. Glad you are finding interesting people to hike with. How are you dealing with the heel blister?
