Day 15 : New Year's Day

It's snowing.  Yay very pretty big white fluffy stuff.  Bummer we had to leave it behind.  Off to our final stop Pague.

The train ride was thru rolling hills with various levels of snow.  Sadly Prague does not have any white stuff.

First stop was a walk up the hill over the river to watch fireworks.  January 1st is there celebrated state day.  They had fireworks over in another area of town but the view from the river bank was perfect. From there we headed to the Christmas market to check it out.

This particular picture was from the subway.  I kinda like this metal looking subway look versus the subway tiles.  The colors changed from stop to stop.  The one we got off on was more red and pink than this one.

They have a Christmas tree with twinkling lights kinda blue and white.  They have ornaments and everything.  Very cool tree.

Then in both sides of the square are giant churches.  One which has an astronomic clock or something,  guess it tells you moon and sun information.

Tried the local crepes,  they fold them into long rectangles here versus the more triangle used in the lat two countries.  :)
