Ibiza - Day 6

Today we decided to head over to the salt fields.  Its a national park so i was thinking cool maybe we can learn about how they harvested or harvest salt.  We took the bus, next time i think we need to rent a car to get a little more freedom.  Anyway the bus drove by the salt fields and to the end where all the action was and all it was was another beach.  Nice beach but not what i was expecting.

At the end of the beach out on one point was an old tower, built in the 1600’s.  It was a bit of a trek along a jagged coast line.  In this particular cove there was a neat carved rock.  Someone spent a bit of time creating that.

Overall the trek out to the tower was relaxing.  There were not very many people compared to the over crowded beach, but there was an occasional naked male hikers.

After the tower we had lunch on the beach and then headed to catch our Ferry.  Next stop Mallorca.
