Aug 3rd - Aug 6th California

Drove out to California on Thursday night and stayed down the street from Disneyland.

Friday morning we headed into disneyland. First Quinn and Joe hit the Rocket Ship ride in Tommorrow land, then we went into Buzz Lightyears adventure. From there we took a break to take in a show in the Teaky Teaky Room and eat some pineapple spears. The talking todum poles kinda freeked quinn out a bit. Next we check out the Pooh Bear Honey Cone ride. We then had the oportunity to meet Pooh, Eyore, and Tiger and get their autographs. By now it was lunch time and nap time for Quinn. In the afternoon we watched the diney parade and headed over to Toon Town where we went on the roller coaster. Which Quinn loved. We met mickey and got his autograph. After all that excitement we went over to california adventure and took in the Block Party. We went on the Bugs life ride, met Mini-mouse and got her autograph. Saw the monsters inc show. We went on the pirates ride which he wasnt to sure about. We did small world later in the afternoon which he didnt seem too impressed with. But the tea cups were an instant hit.

Saturday we went to the beach. Played in the sand. The guys attempted to boogie board. Quinn was taken down by a wave and was not happy being covered with sand from head to toe.

Sunday back to disneyland for more fun. Quinn met and got autographs from Buzz LightYear and Goofy. Went on the rocket ship again. Then on the Dumbo ride. Today we split up kid duty so the adults could go on some of the rides. Everyone went on thunder mountain while me and the kids went on Poohs adventure. We split up and went on the Indian Jones ride which was a blast. Went with the kids on Tom Sawyers Island thru all the tunnels. We went on the Story Book boat. We went to see Bear in the Big Blue House show and were able to meet JoJo and Sully and get their autographs. Quinn went on the Soaring over California, which he wasnt too sure about. The rest of us also went on the Wet Bear Country Ride & Splash Mountain. Overall it was a busy but fun weekend.
