Mexico city - April 2012

Second time ever in Mexico city. This trip I had a day in the center. The most interesting thing about this place is their thoughts of the dead an the sacrifices they did to their gods. Almost every Aztec piece of art we saw had a skull somewhere in the design. Now I think death and skulls and think the color black. You know the Grimm Reaper and all. But their art is bright colors. We saw the ciudad real and the different pyramids that had been built on it over the years. Before it was uncovered it was a parking lot. It's Lilly amazing what is under the cathedral across the street.
