Winter in and around Germany

Today we are off on our next adventure.  Really switching it up a bit this time.  For one it's going to be cold.  Well at least at first I thought it was going to be cold, for some reason although we are in the desert I have had to scrape my windshield the last 4 days and its been in the high 20's each morning.  The weather at our destination is Mid 40's to 50.

So anyway first stop is Germany. We really picked Germany rather randomly.  Then after doing some research we found out it's a big place at Christmass with its markets.  Apparently these markets have been around for 100s of years.  From there we will be working our way to Munich for Christmas.  After Christmas it's off to Salzburg and Vienna for New Years.  Final stop will be Prague.

The plan is to rent a car for the first half then train it from there.  To assist with this multi trip approach we bought some Osprey convertible wheeled luggage.  They convert from wheeled luggage to backpacks.  Let the fun begin.
