At the peak there was a cross and a labyrinth.
Quinn and Joe decided to hike the labyrinth, I figured I'd get enough walking in for the day no need to add goo around in circles.
I liked this picture of Quinn coming over the top of the hill.
View into the valley below as we approach Burgos. Not shown its a big town off to the right.
I like the look of these old buildings. We are still in the country but walking down streets now.
And then we pass an airport and now we are going thru an industrial area with a busy road. We missed the turn for the more scenic route so had to deal with this for a short bit.
We then found our way across the river to the scenic side. Very nice walking and biking paths. A bunch of cotton woods dropped cotton all around, it was like fluffy snow.
Although Quinn gets tired, there is always energy for a playground.
After getting checked into the apartment we went to see the cathedral and sites in Burgos.
Some real big doors to these churches.
I thought the tree depicted in his alter piece was unique.
Nice staircase I the cathedral.
Must always look up, the ceilings are always cool.
Now if you really look close at some of these carvings. Some of these artists create weird stuff.
After all that walking time for some chocolate con churros.
Once inside Burgos the city is very pleasant. With the river running thru there is a long walking park thru the city. It was very busy and I could see why. It was a great place to walk or just hang out. Lots of cafés and shops.

The Burgos cathedral is really impressive! Burgos looks like a city more than a town. I love seeing the streams running through the countryside. Hope the foot issues resolve and that the hiking gets easier for you.
